My stay at Golden Tulip Zanzibar Resort was quite enjoyable! The reception team offered a refreshing glass of watermelon juice upon arrival, which set a lovely tone for my vacation. The two-bedroom suite was well-furnished with premium bedding and other comfort features, making it an excellent choice for families. The Saturday night dinner by the pool was delightful, with a chance to enjoy local delicacies.
The dining options could be better.

Our family had wonderful memories exploring beautiful Zanzibar with the help of the dedicated tour desk here. Plus, we were pleasantly surprised with a sea view room that made our stay even more delightful. The pool area is perfect for chilling out after a long day.
In my wife’s opinion, better dining options would enhance the stay.

Decent Stay But Room for Improvement
The view from our room was stunning, and the pool area provided a refreshing escape. Although the dining options were limited, we enjoyed the local flavors. Considering transportation arrangements ahead of time is crucial due to the distance from Stonetown. Overall, a good place for families.

The service at the restaurant was outstanding. Veronica went out of her way to bring fresh passion fruit for my sister, enhancing our dining experience.
The Wi-Fi was unreliable during our stay, which made it challenging to stay connected when we needed it most.

Half amazing, half disappointing
The staff were incredibly attentive, providing a warm welcome and exceptional service throughout my stay. I particularly enjoyed the stunning ocean views from my suite, which created a beautiful atmosphere.
The location had limited beach access, with rocky terrain instead of sandy shores, making it hard to enjoy the ocean fully.

my experience at golden tulip was less than stellar. the breakfast was a so-called 'dinner in the morning,' taking forever to get eggs while the toaster malfunctioned. Also, the staff had this alarming laid-back attitude. rude, really. i had expected royal treatment considering my stay, but alas, just another guest in a sea of mediocrity. almost gave a good review, but just couldn’t.

8/10
Yo, we were wowed by the room, super spacious and the bed? Like sleeping on a cloud! The pool got a killer view, perfect for chillin’ after exploring. Just a heads up, though—dining could use some serious upgrades. We missed out on some local eats nearby.

This place suits me perfectly, offering free wi-fi, an outdoor swimming pool, and a fitness center. The staff helped me find a local food delivery number on my first stay, which I appreciated. I highly recommend trying the breakfast-to-go service for early tours. I'm definitely coming back for a trip.

Would be happy to recommend for a short stay
Comfortable room, friendly staff, the air conditioning was a great luxury in the heat, and the breakfast was enjoyable with buffet style options that suited my taste.
No drawbacks at all.

Had an awesome time at this resort! Relaxing by the large clean pool and enjoying the ocean view from our comfy room made our stay so special. Only downside was the Wi-Fi was a bit spotty at times, but it didn’t spoil our fun. 😊

It was just a well-suited match for a day tour in Zanzibar with good value considering price it charged. The breakfast staff were cheerful and always willing to help, which made mornings a bit nicer. Be ready to travel a bit to find good restaurants nearby.
